Hi, my name is Dinko Tilov, I am the
maker of the critters on funclay.com. I speak Bulgarian,
English, French and Russian. To drop me a line
click
here .
The critters in these pages are hand-made using polymer clay
(Sculpey, Fimo, Premo, Cernit, Modurit and other brands).
The characters are mostly figments of my own imagination. The tools
used are clay shapers (brush-like with rubber tips), standard manicure
tools, pins and a wide variety of objects with a pointy end. For creatures on
two and more legs and taller fellows wire armature is used. Buttons,
pins, beads, watch parts, coins etc. tiny little what-nots are used
for clothing, armor, toys, and tool accessories. It takes anything from 30 minutes to
several hours to make a critter. The characters are typically 3 to 5
inches (8-13 cm) tall.
